When you visit our website or interact with our services, we may automatically collect data about your device, such as: Device Type, Operating System, Unique Device Identifiers, Device Settings, and Geo-location Data.

We consider “user-generated content” to be materials (text, image, and/or video content) voluntarily supplied to us by our users for the purpose of processing or usage on our platform. All user-generated content is associated with the account or email address used to submit the materials. Teamstand does not publish user-generated content to any third parties.

Transaction data refers to data that accumulates over the normal course of operation on our platform. This may include transaction records, stored files, user profiles, analytics data, and other metrics, as well as other types of information, created or generated, as users interact with our services.

1.6. INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES
1.6.1. Google (Gmail / Google Drive)

We, on your consent, read email data (e.g. addresses, subject, body, attachments) to be able to do the following:

  • Organize the attachments in emails by sender and receiver companies, contacts, and similar properties inferred from email metadata
  • Provide you the ability to take actions like organizing or sharing attachments and links (such as Google Drive files)
  • Provide you the ability to search for attachments and links

Please note that we read the email body to access the attachments and links (such as Google Drive) within the email. Your consent gives us permission only to

  • Read email body and attachments, but not send emails or modify email data
  • Read Google Drive file metadata, but neither read the data contained within specific files nor edit specific files

We, on your consent, read the metadata (e.g. file name, file size, download links) of files in your Google Drive to enable the following:

  • Parse Google Drive file hyperlinks contained in the email body and store the metadata
  • Organize Google Drive files
  • Provide you the ability to find Google Drive files by name, type, or similar properties inferred from file metadata

We, on your consent, access your email address and any personal information (e.g. sign-in user name) that you have made publicly available, so that we can manage your profile in our system.

2. LEGITIMATE REASONS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We only collect and use your personal information when we have a legitimate reason for doing so. In which instance, we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you.

3‍. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION‍

We may collect personal information from you when you do any of the following:

  • Register for an account
  • Purchase a subscription
  • Use a mobile device or web browser to access our content
  • Contact us via email, social media, or on any similar technologies

For example, If you provide us with your location, we may combine this with general information about currency and language to provide you with an enhanced experience of our site and service.

3.1. USE OF THIRD PARTY INFORMATION
3.1.1. Google (Gmail / Google Drive)

We, on your consent, access and store the following data from Google

  • email data, i.e. subject, body, recipients, attachments
  • metadata of Google Drive files that you share in your emails.
  • your email address and other profile information that you have made publicly available
  • authorization tokens issued by Google

We store this data to provide you a seamless experience with organizing, finding, downloading files from within our application.

We use the authorization tokens to read the Google data (email, google drive document metadata) using Google APIs on your behalf, in compliance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy. Please note, we do not take any action on your Google data (e.g. email, Google Drive file metadata) on your behalf.

4. SECURITY FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

Although we will do our best to protect the personal information you provide to us, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and no one can guarantee absolute data security.

You are responsible for selecting any password and its overall security strength, ensuring the security of your own information within the bounds of our services. For example, ensuring any passwords associated with accessing your personal information and accounts are secure and confidential.‍

4.1. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary. This time period may depend on what we are using your information for, in accordance with this privacy notice. For example, if you have provided us with personal information as part of creating an account with us, we may retain this information for the duration your account exists on our system. If your personal information is no longer required for this purpose, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.

However, if necessary, we may retain your personal information for our compliance with a legal, accounting, or reporting obligation or for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific, or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes.

The personal information we collect is stored and/or processed in the United States, or where we or our partners, affiliates, and third-party providers maintain facilities.

The countries to which we store, process, or transfer your personal information may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. If we transfer your personal information to third parties in other countries: (i) we will perform those transfers in accordance with the requirements of applicable law; and (ii) we will protect the transferred personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Your choice: By providing personal information to us, you understand we will collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice. You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect your use of our website or the products and/or services offered on or through it.

If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have such person’s consent to provide the personal information to us.

We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or out of date.

4.5. DATA RETENTION

Teamstand generally retains your Personal Data for a period of time consistent with the original purpose of collection. For instance, we may retain your Personal Data during the time you have an account to use our Websites or Services. We also may retain your Personal Data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to establish proof of a right or a contract, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, in accordance with the law.

A Teamstand user can request, at any time, to remove their data associated with their account. Please note that some of your content, data, information, text, files might remain in our backups (e.g. Database or S3 backups in AWS Cloud) for a period not exceeding 90 days.

5‍. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13.

6‍. USE OF COOKIES

We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across our site. A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our site. This helps us serve you content based on the preferences you have specified.

10.1. ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES FOR AUSTRALIAN PRIVACY ACT COMPLIANCE (AU) INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, if you live in California and your business relationship with us is mainly for personal, family, or household purposes, you may ask us about the information we release to other organizations for their marketing purposes.

You may make this type of request once every calendar year. 1‍3.2. COMPLIANCE WITH GOOGLE API SERVICES

Teamstand’s use and transfer to any other app, of information received from Google APIs, using the Teamstand Google OAuth App, will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Teamstand’s use of Google APIs complies with Google APIs Terms of Service.

1‍4. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OUTSIDE OF THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA)

We will ensure that any transfer of personal information from countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries outside the EEA will be protected by appropriate safeguards, for example by using standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission, or the use of binding corporate rules or other legally accepted means.

15. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Where possible, we will provide this information in CSV format or other easily readable machine formats. You may also have the right to request that we transfer this personal information to a third party.

Deletion: You may have a right to request that we delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, and we will take reasonable steps to delete your personal information from our current records. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will let you know how the deletion affects your use of our website or products and services. There may be exceptions to this right for specific legal reasons which, if applicable, we will set out for you in response to your request. If you terminate or delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 90 days of the deletion of your account. Please be aware that search engines and similar third parties may still retain copies of your personal information that has been made public at least once, like certain profile information and public comments, even after you have deleted the information from our services or deactivated your account.
